Lyndhurst Football Club (Vic)

General :
Lyndhurst was located in the Hawthorn district of Melbourne.
Many thanks to the folk at Early History of Hawthorn for an application of research which would probably kill an elephant.
This Hawthorn FC was listed amongst the 'junior' clubs of the era, which sort of equates them with teams which later competed in the Victorian Junior FA.

Grounds :
1890 - Lyndhurst was based at the Kinkora Estate (near Glenferrie).

Timeline :
1889 - Wakefield, Edlington, Lyndhurst, Arlington, Hawthorn, Richmond, Kew & Camberwell seemed to be in a local comp.
1890 - Glenferrie played against Camberwell, Lyndhurst, South Park, Star Of Camberwell, Moonee Ponds 2nds, Woodstock, Hanover, Crescent, Albert Park Imperial, Moray Juniors, North Melbourne, Edlington, South Yarra Grosvenor, Wakefield, Cromwell, Pembroke, Kew Juniors, Burwood and Lewisham.
1906 - East Suburban JFA : Lyndhurst participated.
